Dr. Yeonglim Oh earned her Ph.D. in Phonology from Hankuk University of Foreign Studies, where she also completed her B.A. and M.A. in Linguistics. She has a broad interest in various linguistic fields, including phonetics, phonology, sociolinguistics, and psycholinguistics. However, her primary research focus is on phonology, particularly the formation of blending. As a teacher, she emphasizes the importance of learning languages with courage and an open mind. She believes that overcoming the fear of making mistakes is essential for language acquisition. Through her classes, she encourages students to actively engage in language use, fostering a supportive environment where they can build confidence in English.
