Dr. Joong won (Will) Lee graduated from Hankuk University of Foreign Studies (HUFS) and University of Delaware with the dual-degree program offered by HUFS with the major of English. Then, he pursued a Master's degree in Harvard University with the major of language and literacy education, shifting his field of interest to education. After obtaining his Master's degree, he worked as an English instructor for a year, mentoring middle and high school students. Then, he pursued a Doctor's degree in education from University of California, Irvine. His research focuses on reading and writing development and instruction. Currently, he is associated with the Foreign Language Education Center at HUFS, actively participating in research, teaching, and services.
